A Special Message From Our CEO, Ms. Adrienne Ferguson
Anyone that's going through an illness or life changing event, don't think you can't achieve your goals. As a child, I stuttered and I was often teased about it and then at the young age of six (6) years old, I was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus where I had to have my entire head shaved bald, which I was also often teased about. I had major brain surgery having my shunt revised three (3) times by the age of seven (7). I was determined to not let any of that define my life.
I graduated from high school with a 3.5 GPA and I then went on to college at Clark Atlanta University where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications. After completing college, I started working as a Television Producer/Editor and in 2008 I had the honor of winning an Emmy Award for editing a documentary on the Holocaust. After that award, I won six (6) Telly Awards and a Gabby Award in 2010.
My message to everyone that's going through a life changing experience is "Never look at anything as a failure, look at it as a step back and a step back is just a setup for something greater to occur. God never gives us more then we can handle. He gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers!"
